In recognition of the important role that GCPS plays in this community initiative, the American Cancer Society recently recognized CEO/Superintendent J. Alvin Wilbanks for his commitment, leadership, and support in the fight against cancer by naming him as its South Atlantic Division of the American Cancer Society Superintendent of the Year.
Already, GCPS teams are gearing up for the 2016 event, set for May 13 at the Gwinnett Fairgrounds. Go, GCPS! Way to support the community that supports its schools!
