Five Broncos from the Brookwood Class of 2011 were the overall winners in the 2015 Georgia Tech Capstone Design Expo earlier this month, developing better 3D limbs for charities that supply prosthetics to Sudanese people who have been maimed in the war-torn country. The students’ design for Sudan-based Project Daniel is less expensive, more efficient, and more powerful than the original design. All five Brookwood graduates on the winning team— Tiffany Choo, Brian Jo, Jimmy Leong, Viet Phi Phan, and Harrison Phung— are studying mechanical engineering at Georgia Tech.
