You may have noticed that the county’s civic center and arena got a new name earlier this year. With the official unveiling of the new sign at Infinite Energy Center earlier this week, a new partnership between the company and Gwinnett County Public Schools also was announced. Infinite Energy has extended its corporate citizenship beyond the naming rights and support for the Center, entering into a financial partnership with the Gwinnett County Public Schools Foundation. As part of that partnership, each year, Infinite Energy will donate $5 for each of its Gwinnett customers to the school system. Darin Cook and Rich Blaser, co-founders and co-CEOs of Infinite Energy, presented CEO/Superintendent J. Alvin Wilbanks with the first check during the unveiling celebration. In accepting the $41,325 check, Mr. Wilbanks expressed his appreciation for Infinite Energy's interest in our students and their support of the district's STEM initiative.
