Bring your company, team, or department to inspire and empower GCPS' 6th and 8th grade students as they discover the value of their education and their own promise for the future at the Junior Achievement (JA) Discovery Center in Gwinnett. JA volunteer days can provide volunteers groups with professional skills in team collaboration, creativity, and problem solving. As a volunteer, you will share your life experiences to mentor and coach students through their day and help to create a more authentic simulation. No matter your profession, your life experiences qualify you to be a successful volunteer at the Discovery Center! In other words, if you have ever had a job or paid a bill, you will be a GREAT volunteer! Learn more about JA of Georgia and how you can get involved online. Discovery Center at Gwinnett has immediate needs for December as well as second-semester openings for volunteers teams of five to 20 adults. Contact JA's Hunter Pierce at hpierce@georgia.ja.org to schedule your group.
