Parents and guardians of students with moderate to profound intellectual disabilities (ages 13-22) are invited to participate in The Transition Learning Group, a four-part learning series about options after high school for their student. Activities will include discussion groups with other parents about their experiences as well as group field trips to view community-based day and residential programs. Sessions will be held Jan. 25, Feb. 8, Feb. 22, and March 16, set for 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the J. Alvin Wilbanks Instructional Support Center. The annual Transition Fair is scheduled for March 4 at Peachtree Ridge HS. Space in the group is limited.
