Bookends: The close of one chapter and the beginning of another

A lot happens in 13 years… and events during those weeks at the end of one school year and the beginning of another are the perfect bookends for the education story that starts with each kindergarten class and closes with each graduating class. We wish the very best for the more than 11,000 GCPS seniors who graduated in May and turned the page on their K-12 education as they headed out for college and careers. And we welcome the thousands of fresh-faced youngsters who make up the graduating Class of 2029. Many of our 5-year-olds attended KinderCamps at their new schools during the summer.
