The Georgia Department of Education welcomes comments from parents, students, educators, community members, and business professionals regarding the creation of a proposed social studies course entitled “Personal Financial Literacy.” The course would be a half-credit elective for high school students, designed to expand the current high school Economics course in the domain of personal finance. The survey will be posted through Friday, Feb. 10 at 5 p.m.
