The students became the teachers recently during the culminating event for a project-based learning (PBL) unit completed by Coleman MS students. The "problem" under consideration was how to best help Chattahoochee ES students get a handle on the Rock Cycle as they master Earth Science learning objectives in the 3rd grade Academic Knowledge and Skills (AKS) curriculum. Teacher Kelli Perry's 8th graders developed the hands-on activity or "investigation" on the topic and led a classroom lesson for the younger students.
