On March 4, Peachtree Ridge High School will host GCPS’ 11th annual Transition Fair for students with disabilities, their families, and educators. Set for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., the event will provide information about community services and resources for young people who have disabilities and may need assistance as they transition to adulthood. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with local agency representatives regarding various options available for school-aged students as well as transitional services to post-school activities and employment. Breakout sessions will cover topics including employment and vocational training, day programs, recreation and leisure, funding, and community resources.
