The best young artists from Gwinnett County take center stage in the coming weeks in honor of Youth Art Month! The 2021 Tapestry exhibit will feature an online gallery, opening Feb. 19 and available through the end of the school year. Students, their families, and community members also may visit the rotating exhibit at the J. Alvin Wilbanks Instructional Support Center (ISC), located at 437 Old Peachtree Rd. NW, in Suwanee. Visitors to the ISC must wear masks and should maintain distance from other visitors.
During this annual celebration of the visual arts, the ISC’s lobby area is transformed into an art museum filled student creations—paintings, drawings, three-dimensional art, mixed media, pottery, jewelry, and two-dimensional art. Each week during the rotating exhibit, new works from featured cluster schools will be displayed at the ISC and posted to the online gallery.
