2017 Green Strides Tour to Pharr ES and Mason ES
Last month, educators, community members, and public officials from around the county, state, and nation visited two Gwinnett elementary schools as part of the U.S. Department of Education’s Green Strides Tour. Both Mason ES and Pharr ES are designated as Green Ribbon Schools by the U.S. DOE. In these photos from the visits to Mason and Pharr, follow along with the tour participants as they observe innovative environmental education in action, including outdoor and lab learning that supports stewardship and civic values in a hands-on, real-world way.
