Six surprise visits = six surprised and very excited teachers… GCPS 2017 Teacher of the Year (TOTY) finalists! These six educators—Brian Sinyard of Chattahoochee ES, Brittany Mayweather of Mulberry ES, Jamie Lynn McFarland of Rock Springs ES, Lisa Hamilton of Pinckneyville MS, Alex Robson of GIVE Center West–MS, and Luke Smith of Norcross HS— deliver on The Promise of Gwinnett every day in our classrooms. We're looking forward to learning more about these talented teachers at the upcoming TOTY celebration on Nov. 10, where we'll find out who will represent the district as 2017 Teacher of the Year.
