If you’re a sports fan and want to help support students, teachers, and school programs through the Gwinnett Foundation Fund, Inc., mark your calendar for the Gwinnett County Sports Hall of Fame event on May 19. You won’t want to miss the event’s keynote speaker, Atlanta Falcons Head Coach Dan Quinn, and the induction ceremony for the Class of 2017— Courtney Puckett Oro (Providence Christian Academy, gymnastics), Tony Akins (Berkmar HS, basketball), Coach Jack Britt (the old Grayson and Lawrenceville high schools), Kyle Maynard (Collins Hill HS, wrestling), and Chad Hall (Wesleyan School, football). All proceeds from ticket sales and sponsorships benefit the Foundation's student scholarship fund.
