On Saturday, Feb. 24, Archer HS’ Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) will sponsor its 2nd annual Historically Black College and University (HBCU) College Fair and Step Show. The event will run from noon to 4 p.m. at the school, located at 2255 New Hope Rd. in Lawrenceville. This college fair is open to all GCPS high school students and will provide an opportunity to learn about the diversity, affordability, and academically competitive programs found at HBCUs. The college fair will be a self-guided tour for students, parents, and other attendees, giving students an opportunity to review options and begin the application process. Representatives from sororities and fraternities will be in attendance to share information about their organizations. As part of the event, local fraternities and sororities will perform a step show from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
