He grew up with a famous father, and a lot of books have been written about that famous man, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. However, Martin Luther King III wanted to tell the story of his daddy.
Last month, MLK III read his book—“My Daddy, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.”— to 2nd graders at Corley ES and conducted a Q&A with the young students who had studied the life of Dr. King as part of their Social Studies curriculum.
In this GCPS TV video from MLK III’s visit, hear excerpts from the book and learn more about this special learning experience.
