During the holiday season, you can help students served in the Community-Based Mentoring Program (CBMP) to make a difference in our community by donating items for families in need!
Students in the Hispanic Mentoring Priority will participate in their first community service project together during an upcoming Saturday Life Lesson event on Dec. 7. Mentees will fill empty shoeboxes with donated goodies and wrap the boxes before delivering them to a Gwinnett county non-profit that supports families in our community.
Please drop off your “smaller than a shoebox” donations at the Community-Based Mentoring Program office, located at 1229 Northbrook Parkway, Suite.B, in Suwanee, by Sunday, Dec. 1.
We are accepting donations for children and adults for the following items:
holiday wrapping paper
small-sized toiletries, such as body lotions and body wash
loofah sponges
hair brushes, combs, and compact mirrors
coloring books and pencils
nail polish and make-up
hats, scarves, and gloves
fashion socks
mini umbrellas and fold-up rain ponchos
small books
other small gifts
