Are you currently certified to teach Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics for middle grades (4-8) or high school (9-12)? Do you have an interest in teaching and hold a degree or have work experience in a STEM field?
GCPS is holding a screening event and career fair for prospective STEM teachers on Feb. 8.
You are invited to attend if you:
hold current certification in a STEM subject,
have passed a GACE Content Assessment in a STEM field,
hold a degree in science, technology, engineering, or math, or
have work experience in one of these fields.
Those interested in an interview at the event should complete an online application. Candidates who are interviewed and recommended for further consideration will be invited to interview with select schools at the GCPS Teacher Career Fair on March 21. The district will be offering Letters of Intent for the 2020-21 school year to selected candidates.
