Students at Oakland Meadow School are enjoying a new and improved playground that is specially outfitted for the school’s students, including children who use a wheelchair. Featuring a basket swing, a merry-go-round for wheelchairs, a garden feature, and drums, chimes, and a xylophone, the new play area provides students with a safe and fun place to play and learn. Generous donations from community members and district funding helped pay for the $75,000 project.
