If you are a registered voter and you haven’t participated in advance voting or returned an absentee ballot, you have two remaining options for voting in the Presidential Preference Primary, General Primary, and Nonpartisan Election on Tuesday, June 9.
Absentee Voting
You can drop off your completed absentee ballot at one of eight secure ballot drop boxes located around the county or the Elections Office located at 455 Grayson Hwy. in Lawrenceville. Completed ballots must be received by 7 p.m. on June 9. To make that deadline, election officials recommend that you drop off your completed absentee ballot at a designated location rather than use the mail. No postage is necessary to use a ballot drop box. Note that absentee ballots may not be submitted by fax or electronically, and you must drop off the ballot yourself. Be aware that absentee ballots may not be submitted at polling locations or the Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center. (June 5 was the last day to request an absentee ballot.)
In-Person Voting
On Election Day, in-person voting is available at your assigned polling location. Go to the Georgia Secretary of State’s website at My Voter Page to find your assigned poll location, and review a sample ballot. (Go mobile for election info and registration with the GA Votes app, available for Apple and Android.)
