Recognizing their achievement in Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses during their high school careers, Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) recently highlighted the work of 26 high school students during the Gwinnett County Public Schools 2022 Career and Technical Education Student of the Year awards recognition program. The students were selected from a field of high-performing high school students within Gwinnett County Public Schools. The students were honored during a celebration on March 22.

The selection process required nominated students to submit a resume, a letter of recommendation from the nominating teacher, information on participation in a Career and Technical Student Organization, community service and an essay. The final requirement was an interview conducted by a panel of judges consisting of business and industry leaders.
