American Education Week brought 138 community leaders, including business people and elected officials, into local schools to serve as “Principal for a Day.” The annual event is co-sponsored by the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce and GCPS. Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Gwinnett Environmental & Heritage Center, Peach State Federal Credit Union, Georgia Campus–Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (GA-PCOM), Dave & Buster’s, and Interactive Business Technologies will sponsor a luncheon on Dec. 9. Principals and community members first connected at a breakfast event in October. In this photo gallery, catch some of the scenes from the school visits.
