Students are back in the classroom on Thursday, Jan. 4. We’re looking forward to the second half of the school year and the coming weeks of innovative classroom instruction that will help prepare kids for the next grade, for the next level, and for their postsecondary plans of college and career. Keep up with important dates on the school calendar for the rest of the semester and look ahead to the future with the 2018-19 and 2019-20 calendars. Don’t forget that Monday, Jan. 15, is Martin Luther King Jr. Day, a federal holiday and a day away from school and work for GCPS students and staff.
