Gwinnett Online Campus reopens 2020-21 registration for full-time students
Gwinnett Online Campus (GOC) is reopening registration for full-time students to fill remaining slots for the 2020-21 school year. Registration for students new to GOC will be available from April 9 to May 1 on a first-come, first-served basis. Currently, there are openings for students at all grade levels offered at GOC— grades 4-12. Once a grade level is full, a waiting list will be established.
A new registration process is in place in light of COVID-19 school closures. To secure a space, families must call GOC’s main office at 770-326-8082 before the deadline and request that their student be added to the list for New Enrollments.
Once the campus is reopened, GOC will contact families on the New Enrollments list to schedule an appointment to complete the registration process on campus. Only families on the list for New Enrollments will be contacted.
Several documents are required for registration and should be presented to the school office during this appointment. However, families may provide some documents at a later date if they are not available.
Online, find answers to Frequently Asked Questions, learn about the benefits of online learning, and view a demo course.

Gwinnett Cooperative Ministries providing food for families in need during spring break
GwinnettCares.org and Gwinnett’s Cooperative Food Ministries (co-ops) are offering support to families that need food during spring break. Go to your assigned co-op anytime during their operating hours. In order to receive assistance, you will need to present ID and a piece of current mail with your address and zip code. Families may visit a co-op one time during the week and will be given a bag of food for the week. There is no need to call ahead, just show up. Food will be distributed in drive-through fashion to comply with social distancing guidelines.
This effort is made possible thanks to the generosity of many Gwinnett citizens, businesses, and local churches pulling together to help take care of each other through COVID-19. If you are in need of other resources, we encourage you to visit GwinnettCares.org.

Shift your career into gear as a GCPS bus driver!
On a regular school day, our bus drivers are the first and last GCPS staff members to connect with more than 133,000 Gwinnett students. Our Transportation Department consistently delivers reliable, safe, and efficient service for the students of Gwinnett County Public Schools.
Our drivers enjoy competitive wages starting at $15.73 per hour, excellent benefits, paid training, and a great work schedule. They work the student calendar year and enjoy the benefit of time off on student holidays and summer vacation! Prospective drivers don’t need to hold a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) to apply to become a school bus driver. Our Transportation Department trains and supports new drivers through the process! Applicants must be 21 or older, have a good driving record, and have a high school diploma or GED. Learn more and apply online today (Posting #56860) at GCPSjobs.org.
