Nominate a GCPS educator for AJC Celebrating Teacher Awards!
So, here's your chance to brag on some of Gwinnett's awesome educators! Again this year, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution is sponsoring its community recognition program to make sure the “best of the best” in the classroom get the recognition they deserve.
Selection of the winners of the AJC Celebrating Teachers Awards will be based on how nominees went above and beyond to educate, inspire, and encourage students during the 2017-18 school year.
Students can nominate their own teacher. Parents can nominate their child's teacher. Or, you can nominate an incredible co-worker or a friend who is amazing, in and out of the classroom. Just make sure to submit your nomination by the May 27 deadline. Be prepared to share how your nominee inspires and encourages students, helping to prepare the next generation for college, career, and life.
Ten honorees will be selected from among the nominations by a panel of academic leaders representing Georgia’s local universities and professional education standards, specialize in a variety of fields. Winners will be honored at a special event hosted by the AJC.
