During School Nutrition Employee Week, we salute the important work of our SNP staff members.
It's Teacher Appreciation Week!
We salute our dedicated teaching corps during Teacher Appreciation Week (May 1-5) and on National Teacher Day (May 2)! Our teachers keep The Promise of Gwinnett every day… teaching knowledge and skills for 21st century learners, encouraging Gwinnett students to dream big, expanding the walls of the classroom through innovation, and nurturing dreamers and doers in our schools.
GCPS teachers are champions for all children and are passionate advocates for strong public schools, believing that public education is essential to America’s prosperity.
Because teaching is both a science and an art, our teachers work tirelessly to improve their craft to benefit students-- through ongoing professional learning, collaboration with colleagues, and reflection on their practice.
Gwinnett’s forward-leaning educators transform instruction to prepare students to reach their “real world” potential in college and careers. In fact, the relationships that our teachers cultivate in the classroom give our kids a safe zone to explore, experience, and excel as they discover their own Promise.
This week, give a shout out to teachers, and let your teachers, past and present, know how they make a difference in your life!
